Does anyone have any experience with the sales of foreign language films in the UK?

Hey all,

I'm looking to talk to anyone with any experience of selling foreign language drama feature films in the UK.

My film, Shinning Moon, was shot in Chile this year and has completed editing recently. I'm looking for contacts or advice for UK sales. We have already sold in several other international territories, but the UK seems somewhat elusive.

Welcome any and all thoughts/contacts/introductions etc..

Cheers!

Do you have a sales agent? How did you do international deals? I suggest finding a sales agent who deals in your genre - they will soak up a slice if any deals they do, buy should take you into the appropriate markets. AFM is around November, so they should be able to sell there. I believe LATAM is more deeply represented at AFM than say Cannes, but you'll pick up some European sales too.

Have you tried Spencer Pollard at Kaleidoscope? I think he's done some foreign titles.
