Does anyone know of any affordable cinemas or bars available for private screenings in London?

I am waiting to kick off a CrowdFunding campaign (I know, who isn't!!!?) for a Short Film that I am looking at making into a Full Feature (all be it a short Full Feature). We are planning an event evening, but also want to hold a screening of the Short Film, as well as another we produced. In doing this, we are looking to drum up support at different stages and reward those involved in the films with a screening of their work. That said, it is a CrowdFunding campaign and so I want to spend as little as possible.

Looking for somewhere after 10th August.

If anyone knows of any affordable venues that still manage to create an exclusive and cinematic experience, I would appreciate your suggestions.

Best,

Chris

The people who run Short Sighted cinema use the Ritzy in Brixton upstairs. You could ask them for their contact there

Yes we used the King and Queen pub in Foley St, W1 to premiere my latest short. They have an upstairs function room with seats for around 50, big wall mounted TV. Take your own DVD player. They let it out free! Well they expect a payment to charity.

I went to a small film festival screening at the Shortwave Cinema/Bar in Bermonsey once. Really nice place, a cool bar out the front and a proper mini cinema in the back room. http://shortwavecinema.com/Shortwave.dll/UserDefined?PageID=3
