Dear All,
I am looking for opinions and suggestions about "The Brighton Film School", they offer different programs, I am interested in a Filmmaking Diploma(Cinematography and Directing with focus on one of this areas in the final term, it last one year) thanks to a possible bursary I could achieve locally here in Italy.

The facilities, program and the price for the course seems good but if someone could comment oh his/her personal experience or speculative impressions about, it certainly will be a plus.

I founded it but sold it in 2011 after running it for 12 years.. I can offer some advice and have written technical papers on various topics. I'm now at franz@imperialfilmproductions.com

Hi Franz! Saw this thread and wondered if you were still involved....
Griff here (ex the cinema in Burgess Hill, friend of Wayne and Ralph Harvey) but now with a 20+year old production services company.

No I'm not. They changed the locks the day after, although I was willing to pop in over the next few weeks to help them over. The result is they don't know how to load the 35mm Mitchell and Caméflex or Steenbecks. Looking forward to hearing from you both - and others - via franz@imperialfilmproductions.com

i have been thinking of doing the diploma in cinematography and direction (self funded :( ....)...the tuition fee is quite reasonable though compared to other fancy film schools...i would really appreciate if anyone who studied there could share their experience...
