Hi there,
I need to change the credit size at the end of a promo-cultural video I am finishing and I do not know the standard size. Any ideas or comments about this would be very useful.
Thanks a lot,
Adeline.

There are no rules, but I'd suggest you set things to take under 30 seconds (TV shows do it in under 30 seconds even the bigger ones). I've seen 7 minute shorts of which 4 minutes was the end crawl - fact is nobody cares really.

A few pointers - use sans-serif font if possible, more legible as the narrow bits on serif fonts can disappear slightly. If you do use serif make them slightly larger. It always used to be that you should avoid pure white (so slightly greyed, can be a tiny amount) and apply a very small amount of blur to the text - 0.5 Gaussian in Pshop for example. Whether or not that still stands these days... otherwise Paddy's right, no hard and fast rules. Go for what looks good/right to you.
