3 years ago I'd have said it was a great plan, but domestic drones are becoming so cheap that every wedding photographer has one, and the effect is feeling a bit overused. That said, if you're going down that route, I'd start off by looking at the cost of professional training, insurance, and CAA requirements as opposed to just the hardware purchase.

You're late to the party. Loads of peeps started drone biz and soon found that it was very difficult to get paid to fly.

"I've got a drone, how can I make money" isn't a plan. "I know that ABC people in PQD industry - an industry I know well - have XYZ problem, for which hiring me to fly my drone is a cost effective solution" is perhaps worth some consideration.

Hi guys,

thanks for the quick reply. To be honest that's what I was expecting, but wanted to double check it. He reckons he would have abundance of customers from his other business ventures but I have my doubts.
