INDEXEditing questions

So I have shot a film for the Raindance Lockdown Lover 60 second competition which closes next Thursday but the Editor I had lined up is no-longer able to help. I'm guessing I'll struggle to find someone with this short notice - but if any Editors are able to help - I'd be so grateful and can pay but I am self-funded - pls contact me kareliawriter@gmail.com.
But assuming I end up having to do this myself, what is the easiest software to learn from scratch and use? I've previously tried and struggled with Shotcut and Adobe Premiere Pro. It seems there's quite a steep learning curve with both of those. Can anyone suggest anything better? Or should I just persevere with one or other? Obviously I have Googled but I am sure many people have been in this position before so I thought I'd ask your advice.

Hi Karelia, the best place to find collaborators is by posting into Production- https://shootingpeople.org/production
Best of luck.
