Equipment insurance for cars without alarms

I am just renewing my insurance with Hencilla Canworth, who to date have been excellent, but they will not cover my equipment in my car as it does not have an alarm on it. This kind of renders the insurance partly useless as this is one of the points when my the equipment is most vulnerable. Has anyone got insurance that covers unattended vehicles without alarms and if so who with.
