Hi Nick,
I shall certainly have a listen. There may be lots of other Indy podcasts. There are also lots of films but that’s not a reason to not make anymore. Imagine if that were applied to crisps or cake. We wouldn’t have Red Velvet or Salt and Vinegar McCoys.

I took a couple of months off this project because I had to focus on work that was getting me paid, and the last interview I had done before Christmas, with director Yann Demange, wasn't very good and made me reappraise why I was doing this...

Don’t know if you remember me (I’m the one on the left) - but I was interning at the Spectator while you were there, and just saw this! Hullo again! The latest episode of this is up and it's with Sheyma Buali, the director of the BBC Arabic Festival. I didn't really know much about the festival or, indeed, Arabic filmmaking going into the interview, but actually found it all really interesting in terms of understanding where world cinema is right now, what the BBC's commissioning priorities are, and various other discussion points.
