FCP10 - the way to go?

10 years, 7 months ago - Michael Chandler

Hi all
I'm currently summing up the courage to invest a bit of time in properly learning FCP 10. To date I've grown up on FCP7, I only edit occasionally but will be doing more in the near future. And FCP 10 has been sat on my Launchpad for a few years taunting me.

So - before I invest this time, I just wanted to check that FCP 10 is worth it over FCP 7 - and also to ask, can anyone recommend some online tutorials (e.g. Youtube videos or the like).

Cheers!

If you're about to invest time and money into learning an new flavour of NLE, I'd suggest having a look at Lightworks first lwks.com

It's free and it's industrial class. It is the software many major movies were edited with - have a look at the site first and I'll give you a pound if you don't recognise any of the major projects it was used on ;-) Heck, two quid.
