INDEXFestival Submitting Niggles

Hi folks, I'm putting together my film submission details in several portals, but in one that shall not be named - let's just say it's the big evil one that generates IMDB listings - there are loads of credits missing when you're building a project. Has anyone been through this process who knows how to add runners, trainees and specialised roles that are missing such as my focus puller? I'm concerned loads of my crew won't get listed on IMDB properly.
Cheers,
Chris

The festivals you are submitting to do not want that info. You add them at a later date to IMDB directly once you are on there.

Cool, thanks Elisar. Seems daft to force an auto creation of an IMDB page for a film with incorrect crew info, even if the festivals don't need it.
Anyway, problem solved :)

Chris, even if you diligently fill in all the boxes on WAB, the information doesn't always transfer to IMDB accurately. Who knows why? I've frequently had to go in and change things e.g. the DoP was suddenly director and producer - inexplicable inaccuracies. Also you have to watch out that other unknown people don't change things wrong on your IMDB page (had that happen too). As you get selected in festivals, you can also add them to the IMDM release dates which keeps it up to date. It's worth getting IMDB Pro to do that.

Thanks A D. Yeah it's a bit bonkers - gone to great pains to make sure everyone gets their correct credit for IMDB and then WAB just disregard it.
You know, I was wondering about festivals. My last short got into a good one but I can's seem to get that reflected in the IMDB profile. So you have to be on pro?

@Chris Bogle I think it's the only way to amend things. It's about £15 a month but it also gives you access to everyone's agents and managers which is info you can't access usually.
By the way, if you're making shorts, it seems that the only way to get an IMDB listing is to enter CERTAIN festivals via WAB.I think it's because IMDB and WAB are all Amazon owned/linked. You can add all your festival selections if you have Pro. Let me know what you need doing, and I can try and update it using my membership?

@Chris Bogle You don't need a pro account to update your festival screenings (or any other information), it might move it along a little in terms of the approval process but to be honest I don't notice that much different to when I was updating info before I upgraded to IMDb Pro to now.

I always just use IMDB to create crew credits first, and deal with WAB credits separately. Also I don't add all the crew credits on WAB, just cast, HOD's etc.
