Film clips for panel events - who to ask?

Hi all,

I'm wondering who is best to approach/get hold of to get film clips from. We're going to be running some educational panels across the summer looking at music in film and looking to show film clips at them to illustrate points. If any one has any any experience or understanding of best way to go about this would be great to hear about it.

Depends exactly what you're after. If it's just clips, you may get by under fair dealing/educational use (see below)

In which case you'd just capture some moments from DVD
