INDEXFinding Crew inRome - or fly them from UK?

I'm back onSP after a few years break, and trying to shoot an Indie film in Rome, where I'm based right now. I have spent 4 months going round the houses, trying to find crew, you find them and then they decide they don't want to work at weekends, or first thing in the morning etc.
Anyone know any good crew here. I'm even contemplating bring UK crew out because we've got some fairly scary deadlines coming up & I just lost my 3rd crew!

First off if you are looking for a sound recordist I would be happy to travel to Rome, see my website www.craigrihoysound.com for cv and kit.
The main problem with sourcing British crews is Brexit made us the pariahs of Europe, which complicates the movement of kit, which needs a carnet to get through customs. All the jobs I have done abroad this is arranged by production but I know it is not a simple process.
