Format of shooting script for BFI Cultural Test submission

7 years, 11 months ago - Michelle Parkyn

We have our shooting script in a similar layout to the spec script, with camera details etc within the document. Has anyone had experience in submitting for BFI Cultural test approval and what format script did you use?
I am mainly wondering if we need to create the script in a standard 'table' layout like a more common shooting script or if this is unnecessary

I'm unsure what "table" layout is, but https://gideonsway.files.wordpress.com/2009/10/sample-screenplay-page.gif is the usual feature film script format for good reasons.

Hi Michelle - my experience was that all they want is the final script as shot or as intended to shoot. Nothing to do with shotlists. But why not phone or email the bfi?

Thanks Glyn - that's what I was getting muddled over as someone advised to send it as 'shotlists' - hence the table reference. What we have is a traditional final script as intended to shoot, so sounds like it's what we need. Will do a double check with BFI this week.
