Screen Tests

I’m interested in the general opinion on the following.

We’re a London based film hire studio. As part of our marketing we create sets in the studio to show potential clients what’s possible with our furniture and in house lighting. Up until now we’ve not included models, we’re a small team and camera shy!

The offer would be, if there are any actors out there who would like to jump into the scene for a few hours to try different lighting set ups and lens combinations, we could provide them with a set of high quality professional head shots (video) for their cv/reel. The clips would be used in our website and social. No acting required unless you want to.

While we’re skilled in lighting and camera work we’ve not posted a request like this before and I don’t even know if it’s something actors would require, and I don’t know if this is a done thing or not, either so please forgive me if it it’s not. I’m happy to be informed either way, hence the post.

Hi Craig, if you wanted to showcase how versatile the space was I'd be happy to find some actors for you. When you stete headshots I assume that you are talking about stills? Or do you mean stills taken from the video? Obviously, the best quality would be 1st generation.
