I'm looking for a location suitable for a LGBT club with a karaoke performance area; so, other than the real thing - a function room above a pub or a working men's club with a stage and a disco ball with lametta curtain - maybe with loads of red plush, Can be quite cheesy in an old fashioned way. Can be in London or up north (Manchester/Leeds) Cheers.

Hey Mark,
The Royal Vauxhall Tavern has a space like this downstairs and also a private function room upstairs; Moth Club in Hackney also has something similar with a big shimmery gold curtain and actually did use to be a working men's club!

there's a cheesy little stage for performers at the Ship Inn in Rochester on the High St. They do drag nights there.

Cavendish Arms are film-friendly (we were there for 3 days - as long as you're clear for opening, they're very patient)
