gaffer with own lighting, rigging kits (Aputure lightings)

Hey there!

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to reach out and share my excitement about exploring new opportunities as a Gaffer for upcoming film productions. First of all, thank you for taking the time to read this message. I'm based in Southeast London but originally from Tibet, which adds a unique twist to my background as a Gaffer. If you're looking for someone truly unique, I'm thrilled to share that I might just be the only Gaffer you'll encounter from Tibet or even the whole of the UK!

I bring a wealth of experience as a Gaffer, along with my trusty Aputure lighting equipment. I'm confident in my abilities to contribute to your team with a high level of expertise. I've had the privilege to work on various projects, including a sponsored video for the Chelsea Football Club and collaborations with news networks. These experiences have honed my professional etiquette and deepened my industry knowledge. Additionally, my three years of Digital Film Production experience at Ravensbourne University London have equipped me with a creative approach and a proven track record of achieving specific objectives on time, all while fostering great teamwork.

Now, here's what makes me stand out from the crowd of Gaffers: I actually own my own top-notch lighting equipment, complete with lights, modifiers, and grip gear. Renting equipment can sometimes put a strain on a production's budget, but as a Gaffer who rents out my equipment, I can help you cut those costs. I offer my equipment at a rental rate that's lower than the average, making it a budget-friendly option, especially for productions with limited resources. You can check out the full list of equipment I have available through this link: https://fatllama.com/profile/8088776083?tab=STORE&mobileTab=STORE#storetore.

Now, let's talk numbers. My usual day rate is £200 per day. However, if that doesn't quite align with your budget, I'm open to a bit of negotiation. How about £150 per day? Heck, if your story manages to captivate my heart and sweep me off my feet, I'm even willing to consider working for £0 per day. Yep, you heard that right! But remember, it all depends on the magic of your story.

To get a sense of my skills and passion for film, as well as my dedication to societal causes and social issues, feel free to browse through my portfolio at https://www.flamingsonder.website/gallery.
Thank you so much for considering my application. I look forward to the possibility of collaborating with you on an exciting film project.

Warm regards,
Ngawang Lektso (Nova)
