Hi everyone I am thinking of selling some old gear and a camera online. what is my best option and does anyone have any general online selling advice especially against fraud?

Sell on eBay. You get payment before you have to mail out. Or if the buyer wants to meet and collect, never take cheques. Cash only.

I've bought from ebay and other places, and frankly I wouldn't buy second hand kit without seeing it, so collecting in person, and paying cash. People LIKE cash :-)
It's a few hundred quid spend, so the petrol is a marginal cost that brings great peice of mind :-)
My tip - be honest in your descriptions. Not everyone is, and for camera kit, if it's expensive, consider getting it professionally serviced/cleaned. Sales plus and helps avoid aggro.
