Hi all

I'm the trustee of GlobalGirl Media UK, the UK charity that empowers young women through digital media training, and we're hosting our first-ever film festival. We're open for submissions of short films up to 20 minutes long, by self-identifying women aged 14-30. We've extended the deadline to 1 Nov 2020, and the festival will now be online, 6-7 March 2021 (tbc).

GGM UK's mission is to change the male-dominated media landscape, bringing more young women’s voices to the fore - in front of and behind the cameras. We particularly welcome submissions that present women's unique perspectives and the issues that concern them.

Fees are very low, but please contact us if you are a student or have financial difficulty for a potential fee waiver. ggmuk@globalgirlmedia.org
