INDEXGood rooftop views in London?

I do a lot of 3D time-lapse, and I'm looking for suitable bird's eye views of London.
Anyone able to help?
Cheers!

Hi Karel,
On Streatham Hill there is a block of flats called Pullman Court where from the roof you have a spectacular, unobstructed panoramic view of London. I believe the roof is closed at the moment but I'm sure you could arrange permission. Here's their resident's association page address:

Not sure how practical it is, but the Shard is now admitting guests at £25 a pop :)

There are three top floor restaurants that have always impressed me; the National Portrait Gallery near Trafalgar Square, Waterstones Cafe on Piccadilly and Tate Modern.

Places like that charge £100+/hr. Time-lapse will take several hours... :-(

Thanks Ged. I was up there some years ago. Amazing view. Forgot about that place.
Michele, great idea. Maybe we could team up - arrange locations and share costs. Here's a sample still from something of mine http://bit.ly/YaTUPf

I think the best rooftop view in London for filming is from the penthouse floor of New Zealand house, Haymarket. You can get outside and have 360o views of all major landmarks. Where are you from? If NZ or Korea you're in luck as their tourist boards are tenants and can grant you access. If not, make inquiries through the main desk.
Ged.
