Hey,
I appreciate your point but its the nature of the beast when your in a catch 22 situation. No one takes you on because you dont have the credits and you need the credits to get work. The same happened when i was a camera guy. I worked for free for the first couple of months before i had a foot in the door.
However i appreciate what your saying. If its any consolation the industry dont respond well to people who are willing to work for fre because it has negative connotations to who they are...i.e not accepted within the industry or at least not successful.
