INDEXHow can we stream multiple videos, to multiple ipads, from a laptop?

Hey,
We have an upcoming project that involves filmmakers and dancers/choreographers collaborating together to create a unique experience. We've a particular problem that no one on the team is quite sure how best to solve or if it's even possible. It's kind of like how when entering a tech store or for live shows with huge screens, they often may have multiple TV's rigged up together that play one huge image that spans all connected screens, as in say eight TV screens forming one big screen/image when viewed from afar.
We will have several pre-recorded videos that we will need to play remotely on ipads. Six iPads, six videos. Each iPad has it's own unique and dedicated video. We want to be able to control and crucially playback all these videos remotely from a laptop. As it involves dancers and choreography, it's vital that everything is exactly timed and in sync, so the videos would all need to play on every iPad at exactly the same time.
Essentially, we want to be able to prep the videos on a laptop, and press play and have all six videos on the six ipads play at once, in unison and keeping in sync.
Any help, advice or assistance greatly appreciated!
Thanks,

If you want the remote ipads to show what the Lead Pad is showing, that's screen mirroring https://www.airsquirrels.com/ditto/resources/what-is-screen-mirroring
Don't know if you can have a "one laptop to rule them all thing" but it's a place to start
Range?
I don't think you will be able to maintain sync if far flung over the Net. but if this is all in one event space a dedicated wifi network for the devices should work.
If that cheap and cheerful doesn't cut it. look at this sort of thing https://monitorsanywhere.com/

Hey, thanks for the response.
Yeah it's an odd one, it's a live dance experience/show although it's just testing and trialing the idea currently, hence the need to find a decent tech solution. It will be six dancers, each dancer will have an iPad and each of those iPads will play it's own video. The dancers form various shapes and dance routines forming one 'full image' out of the devices. E.G. a routine would end with them forming a human out sorts out of the iPad (top iPad playing video of a head, two iPads for each arm, one for middle, two legs etc)
Trialing it with the videos pre-loaded onto the iPad and having the dancers all press play at the same time didn't quite cut it, timings always fell out of sync, if only just slightly. So was hoping to link all the iPad to a laptop positioned off to the side, then allot the relevant videos to their respective iPads and just hit play on the laptop, which would ideally play all six videos the six iPads at exactly the same time. Thus keeping everything in sync and the timings corrects for the dancers routines.
Thanks again though, will look into your suggestions, might be able to make something work there.
