INDEXhow can you export a project and the connected footage in Final Cut Pro?

I'm trying to export a project from Final Cut Pro. I would like to export the Final Cut Project and all the connected footage from the capture scratch in one bundle. I know this is possible in Premiere but I'm not sure how to do it in FCP...Can anyone help?

Have the required timeline open and active. Go to the 'file' drop down menu and click on 'export' then 'XML' at the bottom and Bob's your uncle. I just did it for a project into Premiere, it messes up your colour correction and turns stereo tracks into dual mono but otherwise its identical.
Good luck, Simon

I have done this before from FCP7, so it is possible...! You need to export an XML file from FCP with a few settings clicked. The Export will not retain any filter/adjustment information (colour grades or audio filters) so a certain amount of rebuilding is required when you get the project into PP (eg - redoing all the titles etc). I also had to fiddle about with the picture format settings in PP after the project had been imported to ensure that the aspect ratio was correct, but the edit was there.
