How do you write a screenplay for a film that's going to be made fully in reverse speed?

8 years, 8 months ago - Emmeline Hartley

Ive been told to write a script for a short 3 minute campaign film but the whole film will be played out in reverse. How does one go about formatting and writing this? Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Write it out as you would anything else, be clear and concise with your description and people will understand that it's going in reverse.

The first scene of Memento is shot in reverse and describes the action as it unfolds.

Seen that car commercial on at the moment? Sc 1 shows the revenge and you wonder why. Then Super "two days earlier" for Sc2 which explains why, or email my franz@imperialfilmproductions.com for the screenplay of Summer Night, Winter Moon - a full length script which goes back and back and back...
