I have written my first feature film screenplay, which I get a feeling is a good script since it's original and inspired by a true story. Then I plan to make the film myself, direct and act in it as well. Then I will send it to film festivals to kick off my career as a writer & director. So where do I find a producer and a fund to make the film. I could try BFI, Kickstarter, and the like.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

How many shorts have you directed?
Any awards or successes achieved from distribution?
What, if any, coverage has your script had and what were the notes?
For any producer to be able to consider you and your project, they'll probably want the usual pitch documents to be able to assess your proposition.
Producers of any worth are in high demand and the competition is fierce. So you'll need to be fully prepared, confidant and on your best game.
If you don't know the requirements that any producer will demand of you, then you're, in all honesty, not ready. Go back and educate yourself of this industry and learn the rules of the game. Your competition will.

The only way you'll learn is to engage with the people that have taken the time to answer your questions. My time on SP is provided for free. But in my professional life, I charge a fee for advice. Just a thought :/
