How to find people to help with Social Media?

3 years, 7 months ago - Vicki Helyar

I'm a writer/director looking to promote my web series (followed by my feature film) and I don't currently have the skills and know-how to promote it online successfully.
I was wondering if anyone knew of a way/place to find people to help for free, for experience/credits? Do such people exist, and where would people suggest to find them? Even someone to have a conversation or mini training session with so that I can do the promotion effectively? Of course, I would love to be able to pay but currently cannot, sadly.
Any advice would be very welcomed. Thanks so much, all. Vicki

I'm on the same boat. Producing a horror drama short and doing my best to build the social media presence. To attract followers, I've been searching hashtags to find the film's target audience. Creating content on a daily basis is a must to keep them interested. Feel free to check it our on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram with handle @InnerDevilsFilm

There must be free online courses for social media marketing.

Thanks for your reply, Kal. That sounds great - you're obviously getting the social media work done. I'd love it if there was a course along these lines and I'm sure so many others feel the same, anything to make it easier and more succinct as I really don't want to be spending undue time on something that I very much dislike to do, as much as I know how important it is.
