how to get written testimons from filmmakers you have helped out?

11 years, 1 month ago - John David Clay

Just wondering about how you can get written recommendations from fellow cinematography professionals you have worked with, as social proof while the production material is still out of your capability to create a professional reel.

+ how can you the same with screenwriters?

Thanks

Did you ask them and they failed to realise what you were asking? But if it's been 18 months, I think you can def chase them.

Just ask them? I've given formal written recommendations (+ Linked in props, etc.) to any and all of my cast/crew that have requested them - if you want to be certain of getting one, perhaps mention it up front *before* you agree to be involved?
