Like many Shooters, I was saddened to hear that Shooting People is due to close. Shooting People has been something special. For over two decades it’s connected filmmakers, sparked collaborations, launched careers, and reminded us why indie film matters. It’s been more than a network - it’s been a community built on generosity, grit, and creative madness in the best sense.
With Shooting People closing, it felt wrong to just let that energy fade. So I’ve started IndieShooters.org - a new space to carry forward what made SP great: a place for indie filmmakers to meet, share, crew up and keep helping each other get films made.
If the Shooting People spirit means something to you, I hope you’ll join me and help keep the legacy alive for years to come.

Hi Nicholas, thanks for reaching out - your experience is a real asset for the community.
IndieShooters.org is a new website I’m setting up as SP will be closing. For now there’s just a sign-up page for news and updates while I work on the full launch which will be 1st Nov (touch wood!).
