Ray this sounds like an exciting and innovative film project - smart strategy too.
I am an actor (worked with Peter Jackson, Marianna Hill) and am looking for an indie film project to help with.

Hello, My names Will. Im a 24 year old South London based DP and I'm keen to get on board your shoot.

As you'll notice from my profile I currently do not have a showreel. However, I have spent 5+ years working on a range of professional productions ranging from Features, Dramas, Promos and Commercials.
I realise it's difficult to consider me for the role without a body of work to support me, however I am more than competent in operating, lighting and technical aspects of shooting.

Often on jobs I have prompted to shoot 2nd unit scenes, along with any additional camera work I could get my hands on.

I have my own Canon 5d MKii with a full set of beautiful Nikon manual slr lenses ranging from 20mm - 135mm. Although i'm in the fortunate position that I can most likely sweet talk a RED, Or even an Alexa from various rental houses I have built up good, long lasting relationships over the years working as a Clapper Loader in the industry.

If your interested in talking further it would be great to meet up or even a phone call to see if we would work well together.

Dear Ray,

I saw your post and thought I would get in touch.

If you could bear with me - I'm a lawyer by training and am a freelance consultant. As a result of my interest in film, I am seeking to expand the activities of a company I own into film producing and production, eventually to be producing feature films.

Currently to gain experience in how films are put together from pre- to post-producting and to make contacts for possible future collabloration, I am seeking small-scale projects to provide modest financial support, as well as whatever other in-kind support I can manage, along with my time, subject to my other committments.
