No preference as to genre, the cast is bettere if up to 5 characters and fewest locations possible.

For example pushing the boundaries, hard to define, but a couple of stories I heard about were these that are the sort of thing, but I am open to anything.
A very educated, rich woman woke up one day in South Africa after an accident and could only speak heavily accented pidgeon english like her black maid. Imagine the ridcule and anger that followed. This is an actual medical phenomenon.

2.To get revenge on a brute that was bullying her sister, a girl, who was a medical student lay in wait for the boy and removed his larynx, replacing it with that of his pet dog, so when he woke up he could only bark.
Obviously cabn't use those so all other unusual subjects readily welcomed.

Aiming to reproduce the aesthetic of Hollywood’s erotic thriller genre from the 90’s such as ‘Basic Instinct’. Designed to have high production values - sumptuous production design (bedroom location), great lighting and camera package - like a real movie, but filmed in a single room location in a single day to make it affordable. The story & feel is very rich and sensual and will, if successfully executed, subvert the viewer’s assumptions and expectations. I like meta fiction and unexpected twists in the narrative, both of which which this story contains. Fits your brief well with edgy, maybe transgressive, dark overtones. Enjoy

Hi, Just wanted to say thank you so much for the 138 scripts I received. Amazing and such a lot of talent and great stories, but I am sorry to say just one that really moved me, though that is not to say that each and every one does not have merit. However lots of the stories have the same base(abuse, disabilities, broken love affairs) and because I am a judge on two short film festivals I see loads of films like that and truly original work (even with those bases)is hard to find. I recently looked at the long list for BIFA https://www.bifa.film/awards/news/Best-British-Short-LL-2016 - so original and so spectacular I wish I could get my hands on one like that!

Gosh the above when I re read it sounded wrong, no correction or delete button - what I meant was I am looking for something so different that I just can't find it. Maybe it is me. All the scripts were great just not what this fussy person was looking for, except for the one about dwarves.
