Insurance needed for a short film going into production next year, shoot is only a couple of days and insurance would only need to cover public liability and equipment. Not looking for anything major, just something that will make actors, location managers and all crew feel comfortable! Our budget is £1000 tops, so hopefully not looking to spend more than 100 on insurance. Is this possible?

Insurance is for you, not them. Try Towergate Camerasure and Essex Insurance Brokers

They're cheap but I wouldn't recommend them. If you want proper cover go with alan chapman and james.

You could also try http://www.performance-insurance.tv. Public Liability, Employer's Liability and Equipment insurance should be just around £100.
