Hi all. Like many of you, I'm sure, I check my emails first thing on my iPhone and maybe even start writing to SP if an article grabs me and I feel I need to reply asap. Here is where my problem starts, and I'm hoping someone out there knows why:

In a reply I sometimes want to pop in my email or site address. Now these are stored in my iPhone as Shortcuts which, I'm sure, many of you use too, so all I have to do is key imp and up pops www.imperialfilmproductions.com or marg and the shortcut produces www.MargeryBooth.com and, of course, my address and phone number etc are in Shortcuts too.

Here's the problem. The moment I key imp the screen freezes on the P and I have lost all I have written. I try to avoid using a shortcut now, but this morning I was trying to write "films like Mr Turner are more impressive on a cinema screen…" but. of course, I wasn't realising that "impressive" starts with imp - one of my shortcuts. The screen FROZE. I had written a lot, and all was lost.

Here's the thing - shortcuts only cause the screen to freeze on SP - and no other site such as LinkedIn or Stage32 or anywhere else… ONLY on SP. Over to you gurus… Thanks - Franz
