I have recently finished my doc and it is under review at many places. I am not familiar with this process as normally I work with commissions and it is straight foward. I have been invited to do a screening at Kings College with a specialised class to discuss the film and have Q&A session. Which is a great opportunity for me to discuss the project further. It is a private session, but I wonder if this can create any problems for buyers/distributors/festivals?
Also, is it OK to start sharing the trailer??
Any advice welcome :)
Many thanks,
Betty

Betty - a screening like this won't harm your chances with acquirers. As long as it's invite only, and not paid for the public to attend. And definitely put material online to build your audience, just not the whole film.
