Japanese looking location wanted

Location wanted in the London or South East area which had a Japanese feel to it for a Japanese style short ghost story film shot over a day or two. Possible involvement in the project if desired. stephen@zelicafilms.co.uk

"Japanese feel" is quite abstract - could you build a set or at least dress an existing interior?

Last year I was on a film at Fanham's Hall, Ware, Hertfordshire which has a Japanese Garden complete with a small pagoda.

Could dress a location but the total budget with a days filming on the short is about £1000, so the less I need to do, the more to spend elsewhere.

And with Fanham's Hall, Ware, I'll look into it.

Of course they also have a pagoda and other Japanese bits and pieces. No idea if they ever let people film there.
