Anyone suggest a good lapel mike (I believe they are called lavaliers?) for use for filming with a DSLR (a GH4) or have any for sale?

I was lucky to get some used ones at a much lower price. Not selling! :) I used them independently from the camera (a.k.a. smartphone), so it doesn't matter which camera.
But with the wires, their use in scenes is very limiting. And the wireless add-on is way beyond my reach. Gave up mics altogether in the film that's in filmofthemonth now.

Btw you'll also need some phantom adapters to bind these to anything that can record the sound. Also costly.

https://www.studiospares.com/Microphones/Mics-Other.htm has some lavaliers - you can spend as much or little as you like, you'll get diminishing returns at the top end of course. Prices from £20.
If you want to go wireless as opposed to wired, I suggest Sennheiser - but you're looking closer to £400.
