legal forms

Can anyone suggest of a good source of legal production forms: actors' release; location indemnity; musician release; the usual things needed for film production. Many thanks.

There are some guide ones on this site in the production/resources section, but be aware somebody else's template is no replacement for your own specific legal advice.

I suggest instead to use plain English agreements, legalese words have specific, non-obvious meanings and by trying to sound "proper" you can sound pompous and undermine yourself at the same time. All the courts care about is what you agreed world happen if a problem arose, and a well written, plain English agreement will show that both parties have considered it properly. If you do write it well, you will never even need the courts as you've agreed all the resolutions to potential problems already in advance, during peace time!

Large swathes of the motor racing industry are doing just this by the way - they realised the only beneficiaries of writing in legalese were the lawyers needed to translate the documents each time.
