INDEXLOCATION HELP- For a CONTROL ROOM

Hello from Richard, i am in Great Need of a CONTROL ROOM as a LOCATION for a planned low-budget self-funded Short film. I am based in Hither Green South East London.
If you know of A CONTROL ROOM,or unused CONTROL ROOM facility,in LONDON or near it,please contact sagitarius215@yahoo.co.uk as i need your help,thanks.

I think Croydon is a good bet its been used for a lot of period drama series foyle poirot etc so have a look

To add to that, I shot at Islington Metalworks / Electrowerkz for this shoot: http://cargocollective.com/jamiekennerley/BBC-TEN-PIECES-CINEMA just in one of their many many dark spaces, and using kit and machines that they had there to dress the set. It's not a full-on control room, but they have a whole room full of useful things that you could certainly build a control room set out of if you have a decent art director.
Failing that there's plenty of disused/abandones government war rooms and various other control centres all over the country (and I mean PLENTY - I've read a book about them). A quick web search will turn up many of these.

I will bear this in mind,i thank you for your response,sorry i am late in responding as i just got in,i have contacted Croydon airport no reply,either way, now taking your advice looking for abandoned control rooms,monitor rooms in london etc,thanks.
