Location - Looking for a Mansion - recoomendations please

Hello good people.

Could anyone recommend a Mansion in England for filming a Drama; South East / West is ideal.

Shooting in October 2013 for about 8 days straight and we do have a small budget.

Ideally if someone could suggest somewhere they have directly dealt with or filmed at.

I do have some offers from Mansion owners, but they do have their problems.

Suki,

There are several national trust properties around my part of Sussex Borde Hill is a very short distance that's even been used in a Victorian set drama you give the National Trust a ring and see what they can offers depends on the script context and what visual feel you are looking for. several of their properities have ben used in various productions.
