Looking for a courtroom; 2-day London shoot.

Independent, low budget. Shoot tentatively scheduled for July/August.
I know the big courts hire out court premises but that'll probably cost a fortune.

Any suggestions? Any experiences? Any ideas how much they could cost realistically?
Or is it probably cheaper to convert an open space into a courtroom set(ting)?

Check the agencies and haggle, there's no freebies in London but you might be able to get a deal.

Otherwise, you can dress a regular space for not staggering costs.

Try universities, which run law courses, as some have their own courtroom set-ups. I did a shoot at the University of Derby several years ago, which had its own moot court.

Try looking at the Hornsey Town Hall in Crouch End N8. It has been taken over by an Arts Centre and recently saw a gig there in a small courtroom..very dark and circular...
