LOOKING FOR A FILM MAKER. interested in my short script about a fatal RTC

5 years, 10 months ago - Chris Dann

This script is 30 minutes long and is set in the Resus department of an accident and emergency hospital. It follows the two partners, an elderly man and young pregnant female of those involved in a fatal RTC who are left wondering why.

This script has the potential to be used for highlighting the dangers of using mobile phones while driving, which unfortunately is still a major problem.

There is no funding as of yet for this project, so I'm particularly looking for a producer interested in bringing this story to life.

I'm based in Essex, so ideally people based south east of England would be ideal to collaborate with.

Many thanks
Chris

Hi Jamie,

I've not yet got any funding for this project, I'm looking for interested parties who can film this.
Do you live in the South East.
If your still interested let me know
Thanks
Chris

Hi,
My initial thought is that 45 minutes is an awkward length. It’s too long for a short and not long enough for a feature. But I bet a good script editor (like myself) could trim it to 25/30 for you, thus saving you money and making it more eligible for festivals.

Hi Paul
Thanks for your reply, yes I thought that 45 mins is neither here or there category wise, but I've got a couple of people to speak to next week about where to go with this project.
But, if I come unstuck, I'll come back to you.
What are your rates if you don't mind me asking.

Thanks
Chris

Hi Chris, I'm in Chelmsford, I'm a self shooting Producer/Editor. I'd be interested in helping you with this with all my kit. Probably free :-) I worked with Suffolk Police to film their Fatal Four safety awareness film, and have won a couple of awards for my documentary shorts.
