ASK & DISCUSS
INDEXLooking for a group of filmmakers to collaborate with either in London or Norfolk
10 years, 1 month ago - Ryan Enever
I am an actor/writer/photographer looking to work with a wide range of crew for film projects. I graduated from the Liverpool Institute of performing Arts in 2012 but since 2009 have been writing many screenplays for feature and short length projects. Now I would love the opportunity to bring these to screen with a passionate and dedicated team. so far I have 3 feature length scripts completed and 10 short films. Because of the network of actors I've been lucky enough to work or train with, all my scripts have had the opportunity of professional table readings when writing my many drafts on each one. I was able to take a lot of feedback away from those session and produce some extremely good scripts.
If anybody is interested then please let me know, and if there is anything else you would like from me in detail then please just ask.
Hope to hear from you
Best Wishes

Hi Ryan,
I have just finished my A-level exams and taking a gap year before I study Film Production at university.
I have assisted professional photographers with clients such as the Arctic Monkeys, so I understand long hours and a fast paced working atmosphere.
I would be really interested in being a runner or assistant on set for some of your films.
I'm not looking for paid work, just experience.

Hi Ryan,
Great that you are looking to work with people, depending on where you are close to - we have a monthly meet up in London at the Arts Theatre Club in Soho from 6:30 onwards called Shooters in the Pub.
If you are free, the next one is happening tomorrow: https://www.facebook.com/events/687543734684037/
It's a great opportunity to meet like minded filmmakers from the community!
Take a look at the calendar to see where else Shooters in the Pub takes place: https://shootingpeople.org/events - most take place on the first Monday of every month (so tonight!)
Hope this helps,
Best,
Kelie, SP

Hi Ryan, I've just spotted your posting on Shooters. Welcome to the Shooters club!
I'd be very interested in hearing more about your work. I'm kinda in the same boat, as I have many short and feature-length scripts all done and ready to go, so I've been looking seriously for funding and producing partners to turn them into a reality.
I also have a group of film-makers, about 180 members now, in a group which I run called Lets Make Movies in London, which is a great resource you could tap into. I have a small group of trusted people I work with closely, and I network an awful lot around London.
So, briefly about me. As well as the scripts, I am a fully trained actor, paid script assessor and script judge for a nationwide film festival. I'm a producer and director - in the words of Eliot Grove of Raindance, "Anyone who has a script in their hand is automatically a producer because they want to get it made"!
I have a tiny production company, here's my website: lonelynightsproductions.co.uk
Would be great to hear from you, all the best with your endeavours.
Many regards,
Chris Smith

Hi Ryan,
I run a collaborative filmmaking group called 'Action On The Side' (www.actionontheside.tv). We have regular script development meeting and run a project where we make a short film in a month. Our next script development meeting is Friday 31st July at the Curzon Victoria (7.30pm) -- why don't you come join us? You can also like our page on FB (https://www.facebook.com/ActionOnTheSideLondon) to keep abreast of our events.
Hope to see you at one of the events.

Very grateful with your responses, I will make contact with you all if I haven't already. I'm away from home until the weekend so trying to make contact using my phone and bad mobile network. I've only been with shooting people a short time and I'm amazed how great the people are on here and how responsive you all are. Very positive outlook. Thank you

Hi Ryan - I recently posted on these pages a request for any actors (like myself) who love script reading. I also write a bit and was dismayed how otherwise intelligent people (like some writers) thought acting was easy and ruined otherwise enjoyable script reading sessions. One lad answered that he'd like to join up with me to read scripts for writers etc.
