Hi all,
I am looking for a producer to make our first feature movie.
It would be a producer, but more than that it would be a partner in order that together, we can find out the best way possible to make the movie.
The final version of the script is done and registered. The movie is about a psychiatrist trapped in his past who relives all his fears with the arrival of three new patients.
The idea of the movie is that we all have fears. The way we deal with them determines the way we live.
I would be the director as well.
It would be mostly a only one main location and five actors. The main actor who plays the leading role, is already involved on the project and he is helping a lot.
This is his imbd profile:

I was wondering what was the best way to approach the matter. I thought to post an ad to get people, but I decided it was better to ask here first and see what you guys can tell me about it.
Thank you very much in advance and of course if anyone is interested please let me know.
Ignacio

The first question will always be 'Do you have money?'. All films cost real money to make, so it makes a big difference to how attractive your project is, no matter how good the script!

I would say budget - what do you have, what do you have promised, and what 'is' the budget? Depending upon the level you need raising, will determine who you get to produce.
Also, what skills do you need the producer to have? Finance? Production? Talent? etc etc...
When are you hoping to shoot? Is there a window for your lead actor that means you have to shoot in that window? Also, if you need a lot of money, or any money in fact, it takes time to raise money so you'll hopefully have a realistic window in mind.
