INDEXLooking for a police interview room location for a short film. Can you help..?

Hi all,
I'm looking for a location in London for a short film, shooting on the 9th and 10th of January.
We need a decent sized room, preferably with colour or texture on the walls, to be used as a police interview room. The film is a comedy sketch about a detective trying to get his suspect to confess to a murder. It's a great script and is starring known actors but its an extremely low budget so we're hoping to find somewhere cheap or even better, free!
Does anyone know of anything that might work? We'll be eternally grateful and will make sure we credit you and you get a copy of the film!

I'm guessing any institutional type of room would work, so maybe there's a room you can borrow at a hospital, school, prison, youth centre, anywhere council owned, etc as an option.
You could always use a flat to make the third wall and shoot in a corner of your bedroom with a bit of a generic institutional paint scheme. Or rent a small studio and knock up a set.
Set dressing is a table and tape recorder, and some institutional, uncomfortable chairs - so you can offer a bit of cash to the location if you find one that suits :)

Hi Paddy, thanks for your answer. We've looked at schools but they've not yielded anything really, and have had difficulty with filming permission for council owned places. Youth centres is a good tip...I'll get cracking on those!

I used the Counselling Room at One Place in Kidbrooke recently, for only £10ph. It's not huge, but it does have a look that might suit your needs. They have a larger room called The Lounge. They didn't mind me moving furniture around.
This is their website, although there is no picture of the Counselling Room - http://www.onespacekidbrooke.org.uk/regular-hire/
