Looking for a producer for a feature

Hi - I'm a writer/director who is looking for a producer to help finance and produce a micro-budget feature - under £250k (a grounded sci-fi mystery). I have representation on both sides of the pond, and I have produced shorts that are award-winning/been selected in several festivals/secured a TV distribution deal and attached established talent. I have connections that can help to attach established actors, and am really looking for a producer that can help bring the feature to life. If interested and you want to find out more, please DM me. Hi Drew, You mention " I have representation on both sides of the pond,", (congratulations for that. Kudos), under the circumstances I would have thought the best place for you to find a producer would be to ask your representation for suggestions, they are perfectly placed to do this and nowadays agencies lead the way in packaging films, crews and cast to attract funding and pre-sales. Just a thought....best of luck.

Hi Ray, Thanks. I'm looking for a producer for a micro-budget feature (under £250k), as opposed to higher-budgeted projects which my reps deal with. Even with reps, it's good to be proactive and get smaller projects off the ground. I've met and collaborated with a great deal talented on people on Shooting People, and made projects with them, and continue to use it as a way to meet more collaborators.

If you’re looking for people to collaborate with, the most effective way of reaching other members is to list your project in the Production part of the site. You can do this by clicking on the navigation ‘Production’ > ‘Get People’ (https://shootingpeople.org/production/people).

Once you’ve completed your post, the project will be available to view on the site in the Production directory and will be published in the bulletins.
