Depends a little on where in the country you are, and what cash you have, but if the answer is 'not a lot', try some local colleges, ask your local theatre which local colleges train scenic carps, and £30 will get you the materials to make a flat... They will build a set for you, but not design it. For this you want a production designer, art director, construction manager or other key art department role depending on your budget. You can advertise here or try filmandtvpro as well for people working up

If you can find £100/day for a scenic carp, I can point a couple of young guys at you, bit rough and ready but good lads.

Thanks Paddy! We'll be shooting in London. And we are definitely able to pay a set builder/carpenter for their time as well as providing the resources. I already have a Production designer on board, what we need now is a someone with set building experience. If you could pass any details on to me that would be great!
