I am a Writer/Director looking for someone who has similar creative sensibilities as me to collaborate with as a writing partner. I am currently in post production of my WW2 short film 'A War Poem' and intend to develop my first feature film after this. I am looking for someone who I can go into the next stage of my career with. I have written two feature films so far, I love writing (a lot!) but I always find that writing in collaboration with someone I connect with can be extremely rewarding/fruitful as well as productive!

Filmmakers I admire: (in no particular order) Andrei Tarkovsky, Frances Ford Coppola, Ingmar Bergman, Paul Thomas Anderson, David Lynch, Robert Altman, Martin Scorsese, Quentin Tarantino, Joanna Hogg, The Safdie Brothers, Jean-Pierre Melville, Barry Jenkins, Terence Malick, Stanley Kubrick, Spike Lee, John Cassavetes, Sofia Coppola, Francois Truffaut, Alfred Hitchcock, Yorgos Lanthimos, Akira Kurosawa, Krzysztof Kieslowski, and a thousand more, but this is to just give you an idea of where my tastes lie.

I realise it's possibly a long shot to find someone you can connect with in such a deep way over a message board but felt compelled to attempt it anyway.
