INDEXLooking for an attic location in Portsmouth (UK) to shoot short film in

To film this month or January (earlier the better if possible). Must be floored (for obvious reasons) and spaced enough to fit crew of 6-7 people in.
We're a student and independent based project so it will be low budget but we are highly professional so any fee's will be negotiable.
Thank you.

Well I have an attic which could fit several people, it's just my attic isn't floored (and my place isn't big by any means). I already have found one place but the owner is getting his whole house refurbished. So I don't believe it's an issue at all.
Thanks for the advice on barnes though, I'll keep them in mind.

When you say "attic", do you mean the cramped and stuffed loft space typical of the modern semi and no way in hell will you get a crew up there simply because we don't build many houses big enough.....if so, good luck on finding a mansion :-)
(I studied in Portsmouth many years ago and as I remember it, villas and mansions were thin on the ground. Most large building attics were now flats).
But failing that, it seems to me that building it as a set wouldn't be too hard or expensive - a couple of frames of 2*4 with black roof liner, and all the junk from your own attic, set up in a barn or suchlike and you're away. With your lights and camera wherever you want them. Barns are much easier to find and have lots of power points.
