Talkinglens Productions are currently working on the feature film "The Test" ​which will​ be filmed entirely in Yorkshire and wondered if someone could offer us a basement location.

Synopsis:
​Kenny, a student with dyscalculia, is caught cheating in his final A-level maths exam by his teacher, Ms Bushnell. However but in return for not reporting Kenny she asks him do her a favour. Help kidnap her cheating husband. Ms Bushnell just wants to ask her Ex why he was cheating with an office girl half his age, why he was divorcing her and where he had squirrelled away money in foreign accounts. However, neither Kenny nor Ms Bushnell are cut out for this task of extracting information from an ex-SAS reservist. Constant visits to the house by a whole bunch of strangers, including a sneaky burglar and a nosy politician, further compounds their dilemma and incompetence adding much hilarity to the ongoing race against the clock.

The film is a black comedy and Talkinglens are currently looking at actors such as Toby Stephens and Max Beesley for main roles in the film.​ ​A portion of the proceeds from the film will be going to the Leeds Children's Hospital.

​We are looking for a basement for a 3 week shoot in February. If possible, could we also view ​any suitable locations in advance of the period​?​

We can forward the script upon request. Talkinglens are able to offer you a credit in the film and all publicity, a DVD copy of the film, we are additionally able to offer you negotiable fees and an invite to related promotional events such as the Leeds Film Festival​.​
