Hello fellow filmmakers,

At the beginning of the year I formed a new production company called ‘Tractorni’ with my partner in crime, Ignacio Maiso. To date we have written and produced 5 short films together and we’re well into the pre-production stages of our first feature, which we plan to begin shooting over several weekends from February 2017. What we need to do now is bulk up the crew, and that’s where we’re hoping you will come in…

We have ‘just enough’ funding for the feature. What that basically means is that, assuming nobody actually expects to get paid, we can get across the finishing line… sadly we’re still at the stage where we’re having to rely on passionate collaborators that believe in our project(s) to join our small but ambitious team out of the goodness of their own hearts.

I realise that you’re not all scrolling down the page with haste at this point to respond to this ad and be the first to take advantage of this unique offer… but if you’re willing to entertain a dialogue with a couple of filmmakers hoping to bring something to the screen that everyone involved with can be proud of, then we’d love to hear from you. What’s the worst that can happen? We buy you a coffee and at the end of the meeting you say “no thanks”.

Since we’ll be shooting over a 2-3 month period, we’re expecting to have to rotate the sound and camera crew a little, so we’d particularly love to hear from any DOPs or sound recordists, of any experience, who might be keen to work on our first feature. We may not be able to pay you, but we will certainly ensure that you’re looked after on set.
