Hi,
My name is Thaïs, I am a London based creative and I have been working on a short stop-motion movie for quite a while now. Pre-production is well advanced, scenario is soon to be locked and creative bible is in production! Still missing the storyboard.
I was lucky enough to be selected by CICLIC, a huge establishment in the French cinema industry, to participate in a writing residency in 2020-2021. With the help of professional scriptwriters, directors and producers, I developed this story of which I am really proud.
I am currently looking for advices, contacts, mentorship etc in the UK (preferably in London) that would allow me to develop this project further. Alternatively, I would love some feedback on the scenario/synopsis!
Thank you very much in advance,
Thaïs

Hi Thaïs. I do Stop-moion.
If you are at the stage of having nailed the story, you are 80% there. Get your story-board done so Stop-motion people can do you a breakdown of production costs and discuss a potential plan of action. From there on is just a matter of asking for money. That is the easy part.
The obvious first port of call for development/production money is the BFI. [ https://www.bfi.org.uk/funding-industry ]
but they are by no means the only show in town or the most apropriate. It all depends on the type of project.
