Looking for interested professional women in media to work on new NGO empowering girls as citizen journalists worldwide

GlobalGirl Media, www/globalgirlmedia.org is a global NGO that empowers girls, ages 14-22 to tell their own stories, and encourages young women from communities of color and marginalized populations to enter media as a profession. We are putting girls behind the camera and at the center of the story. We are launching a London chapter at the end of this year and looking for interested professional women in journalism, filmmaking, new media/social media and marketing who want to be part of this exciting global movement. At this stage we are building an advisory board in London.

We are already active in South Africa, Morocco, Kosovo, Chicago, Los Angeles and Oakland, California.
